Originet IBS, Inc. is a growing Web Development and Internet Marketing firm in New York City looking to hire a salesperson to generate new business. We're looking for an energetic salesperson who is familiar will internet technologies and will accurately represent our company, portfolio and skillsets in his/her sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
Pursue new business through cold calling, face to face prospects, and client visits
Build and maintain a sales lead database to track and manage leads
Develop and manage relationships with new and current accounts and increase volume and retention
Provide attentive and responsive communications with prospects through calls, emails, letters and faxes
Draft and prepare proposals and responses to RFPs and sales inquiries
Arrange and lead pitches and meetings with prospective clients
Prepare and give presentations and demos to prospective clients
Assist with client relationship management, estimating, statements of work, client engagements, contracts etc.
Assist with preparing marketing materials for prospecting
Requirements:
Sales experience in Web Design & Internet Marketing (SEM) is a great plus
BA or BS degree from a college or university (recent graduates will be considered)
Excellent oral & written communication skills, clear phone voice - ability to write proposals, give presentations and attend business meetings
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet and the Web in general
Interest in Web Design & Technology is a must (e.g. you stay on top of trends -you know what you are talking about when talking about dynamic websites and technologies such as databases, flash, social-networking etc.)
Must be a motivated self-starter, who is flexible, innovative, collaborative, resourceful and creative
Strong organization skills and attention to detail are essential.
Candidate must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize as well as a strong client service orientation
